Jenea’ Griffin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Continuing her educational pursuit, she achieved an Executive Juris Doctorate in Family Law from Concord Law School. During her journey at Concord Law School, Jenea’ held leadership roles as the President of both the Student Bar Association and Federalist Society, shaping her for success in the legal field.
In addition to her legal endeavors, Jenea’s commitment to community impact led her to establish Jamal Smiles, a nonprofit providing outreach services to youth and families. This endeavor not only highlights her conviction in the profound impact of community engagement but also taps into the expertise she acquired while serving as a Behavioral Health Professional and Senior Paralegal at Acadiana Legal Services. Jenea’ recognizes the value of child custody mediation, where parents actively engage in decision-making, fostering empowerment and ownership over outcomes.
